Our UX Research team works to empower clients with actionable game-related insights using our platform as their foundation. As a Quantitative UX Researcher, you will work as part of a broader UX Research team to investigate user needs while also addressing client research requests. You will work on both game user research projects as well as product-related research requests. As a Quantitative UX Researcher, you will help answer research questions by utilising empirical research methodologies such as survey research, log analysis, and path modelling. What You Will Do Conduct internal as well as external UX research for gaming clients and analyse data using various methodologies as well as provide recommendations based on findings Work closely with game development teams to understand their research needs and craft quantitative surveys to answer these needs Analyse and interpret quantitative data for Player Research projects Create actionable insights and game design recommendations rooted in empirical research Craft considered data visualisations for internal and external project reports Work closely with product teams, both internal and external, to continuously improve the Solsten product suite and client experience An ideal background Studies in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Sciences, Game Studies, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, or other relevant field A passion for creating human-centred experiences, a strong work ethic, excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, excellent writing and communication skills, detail orientation, and comfort in a face-paced startup where ambiguity can be the norm Experience working with SaaS products would be a great advantage to this role 2 years of applied experience analysing UX research Strong command of UX Research and Quantitative research skills Documented experience building surveys using various survey tools Demonstrated experience translating research findings into actionable insights and recommendations Expanded understanding of and experience with descriptive and inferential statistics Comfortable use of various statistical analysis software Advantageous experience in qualitative research methods and analysis software (e.g. ethnographic methods, interviews, contextual inquiry, usability research) would be an awesome level up.
