We at HyperTrends are looking for a Software Engineer for a Contract Position for approx. 4-6 months extensible based on candidate's expertise.
Our team has grown significantly this year and we are looking to add a talented Software Engineer that has worked on SaaS platforms to help accelerate our mission of building world-class software products.
We primarily work with .NET Core C# and also NodeJs/TypeScript products and are looking for someone with expertise in backend development primarily around building RESTful APIs.
An ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving,
- Solid understanding of fundamentals in Software Development, DRY, SOLID, DDD and similar methodologies,
- REST API Development experience in ASP.NET Core with sound understanding of RESTful principles, graphQL an added bonus
- Strong expertise in .NET Core/C# and NodeJS/TypeScript (preferred as well)
- Ability to communicate with Stakeholders and understand requirements,
- Ability to write high-level documentation as well as User-Stories as needed (highly desirable),
- Self-Starter, always well-versed with best-practices and a keen eye towards learning new skills and technologies
- Great Data-modeling skills and expertise in NoSQL and SQL Databases (PostgreSql, Mongo, DynamoDB etc.)
- AWS and/or Azure Cloud Experience highly desired,
- TDD based development, good at pair-programming (as needed), ability

Pay: $50.00 - $90.00 per hour
