The focus of the team is the generation and distribution of Risk and Profit & Loss (P&L) for the majority of business units (such as Rates, Credit, Emerging Markets and Wealth Management) within Deutsche Bank. The team is geographically split across London, Berlin, and Moscow. The role involves working closely with Information Technology (IT), Market Risk, Finance, Trading and other business users on critical business objectives within front office Risk and P&L production and distribution. You will be responsible for gathering and understanding business and technical requirements and seeing them through to implementation, either by developing software or working with the dedicated development team. You will communicate directly with different areas of the Bank to understand requirements and take ownership of the solution delivery. Extensive communication/collaboration with many types of business and technology users including Finance, Market Risk, Traders, Quantitative Analysts and Desk Strat's Your skills and experience Business/Functional analyst or Developer looking to move into Functional Analysis Excellent analytical and documentation skills Current programming experience in Python preferred, along with exposure to C++ and Perl Full project experience lifecycle essential, with exposure to Agile (beneficial) Investment banking experience preferred, including Front-office/ middle-office risk & P&L experience.
