The Data & Analytics team is the engine that powers JPMorgan Chase with insights to create competitive advantages for our business and deliver value for our customers. We have unified data and analytics talent across the firm and encompass a variety of disciplines including data science, reporting, quantitative analytics, and data governance. Within this organization, the Decision Sciences team leverages industry-leading data-driven techniques to convert data into meaningful insights that enable the firm to drive value and an outstanding customer experience. This is hands-on, technical role so we're looking for exceptionally creative, ambitious, \"data curious\" thinkers and statisticians who can help take our analytics to the next level. As part of this role, the data scientist will be driving analytics to support two different objectives: Job responsibilities To ensure that the Home Lending Product Transformation Teams are focused on innovation that makes a difference to customers, the data scientist will be responsible for driving data and analytical expertise to the product owners Responsible for developing, gathering, and tracking analytics to improve firm's efforts to deepen relationship among Home Lending Customers that will help us reach our franchise value goals and also improve in retaining our existing mortgage customers. Build financial business cases for new Home Lending Products and features Establishing reporting and monitoring in place to track key metrics and optimize overall performance of features Present findings, recommendations and summarize complex information to tell a simple story of what happened and why to leadership team and executive management Navigate complex enterprise data systems Identify and communicate risks as well as benefits of new product innovation Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Possess a unique combination of technical skills, mathematical know-how, storytelling, and intuition in order that allow you to speak the languages of "art" and "science" to develop strong strategies and tactics Advanced degree preferred with 5 years of advanced analytics experience Have experience using tools like SQL, R, PYTHON or SAS Work with a wide range of proprietary, industry-standard and open-source data stores and tools to assemble, organize and analyze data Experience in Digital Analytics and Platforms such as Adobe Analytics Knowledge of statistical principles including experimental design and analysis of variance, probability theory, and sampling theory; additional points if you have an advanced degree in Statistics or a related discipline Proficient with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Tableau, Shiny Dashboards) CCB Data & Analytics Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
