Caxton Associates’ primary business is to manage client and proprietary capital through global macro hedge fund strategies. Assets are managed via a broad mandate to trade in a variety of global markets and instruments. The firm's 36 portfolio management teams engage in a diverse set of investment strategies spanning all asset classes, products and geographies. The Operations team is an integral part of the firm and ensures timely, accurate and thorough execution of trade support and portfolio valuation functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the firm's trading activities. We are seeking to add an experienced individual to the Operations team to work closely with the portfolio management team in managing the full trade lifecycle. Requirements Support the Operations and Investment teams in their day-to-day activities, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of all static data within the Orchestrade system. Provide data input services for other types of static and reference data within several operational systems. Intraday checking of system integrity via health checks, files, and tasks. Maintenance of feeds between internal & external systems, including the fund administrator. Work to improve trade data transfer with third party vendors. Act as a liaison between prime brokers and internal firm groups to ensure that all trade discrepancies are kept to a minimum and any breaks are resolved in a timely manner. Testing and assisting with various projects to upgrade the system and Tradeflow Work closely with Orchestrade, Fund Administrator and other stakeholders to improve daily processes and seek to achieve efficiencies. Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and implement new ones with the goal of having an efficient and robust trade lifecycle. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience Solid understanding of financial products and market systems Knowledge of static data and post trade platform systems A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Orchestrade/Aexeo experience a plus.
