Financial Systems IT Project Manager, $75-$80/hr., 6-month CTH, remote, (USC, GC, TN-Visa) (no H1B/OPT/EAD) *All resumes MUST have a strong background in financial payment systems in order to be considered -5+ years’ hands-on experience with financial processing software -Experience leading eCommerce platform integrations with various internal and external systems/services -Professional experience related to Payment Services with a financial institution KEYWORDS: Product Manager, Payment Systems, Financial Systems, ACH, Zelle, eCommerce, ReactJS, Backbone, AngularJS, Javascript, REST, Agile, DevOps, Subversion, GIT, Test Driven Development (TDD), Application Security No direct reports, but will guide different technology teams Skills: -Hands on experience with emerging presentation layer frameworks and patterns such ReactJS, Backbone, AngulaJS, or similar Javascript libraries to design responsive user interfaces -REST service development and methodologies -Understanding the software development lifecycle in Agile and/or DevOps -Strong familiarity with source code control systems (Subversion, GIT) -Strong familiarity with common design patterns used in web applications -Background in web application development using enterprise grade technologies and frameworks -Knowledge of profiling techniques, memory management and performance tuning utilized to result in elegant and fast-loading web experiences -Ability to enforce practices like test-driven development, Continuous Integration, and Test Automation -Understanding of common web application security best practices -Ability to convert business requirements into detailed systems design and technical specifications Supervisory Responsibilities: -Independently handle personnel issues, conflict management, define goals that increase knowledge and skills of team, and define team’s expectations -Supervise technical expertise of in-house and external resources -Manage recurring contracts, Purchase Orders, vendor SLAs, monthly accruals, and invoices Description: Responsible for organizing and coordinating payments programs, such as, Zelle, Remote Deposit, ACH, and their interdependencies to secure framework for payment. This role is the subject matter expert (SME) on current and emerging payment system initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for researching, recommending, developing, and implementing new and/or improved payment system channels and processes. -Lead web-based initiatives on the current and future payment platforms -Set technical direction for the operational support team, lead the deployment of core features, and work with the team to maintain the knowledge management system for payment processing -Agile delivery while collaborating with the Applications team, Channel Leaders, Vertical Leaders, and Finance -Proactively assess current processes, identify technology improvements, and develop solutions that meet the short and long term goals of the organization -Coordinate activities with third party technology and financial partners -Responsible for activity including: policy, risk assessment, compliance, exception handling, and all associated processing -Estimate time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement a project -Troubleshoot functional application issues to determine root cause
