Group Treasury is a key part of the Group’s Finance division which delivers the Board approved funding and hedging strategy across the Group (UK & Ireland, Nordics and Greece). An opportunity has arisen to join our busy Front Office Treasury team as a Senior Analyst with primary responsibility for assisting in the Group’s cash management process, funding, foreign exchange hedging programme and short-term cash flow forecasting. Key responsibilities: Daily cash management and reporting Group’s liquidity position ensuring all pools/bank accounts are within agreed overdraft limits and investing surplus cash in money market funds Consolidation and review of the Group’s short-term cash flow forecast, liaising with local finance team with any queries/variances to forecast and compilation of weekly cash report up to CFO level Undertaking all aspects of FX management including treasury dealing via the 360T online multibank platform Assist with the funding requirements for the Group, managing the utilisation of the Group’s committed and uncommitted facilities Maintain FX Exposure report, analyse exposures when they arise and mitigate risk by taking actions when necessary Management and execution of Group’s FX Hedging Programmes Responsible for the recording of external and internal transactions in the Treasury Management Systems (TMS) Reviewing all existing and proposed intercompany loans including correct set-up within the TMS and assisting with documentation in line with the Group’s policy Liaising with Treasury Back Office team to ensure all settlements processed are accurate and within deadlines Participate in various projects as treasury continues to improve Front Office processes Regular liaison with key internal and external stakeholders Skills/experience required: Prior treasury experience in a corporate environment is essential Understanding of FX markets and trading is desirable Strong academic background (to Degree level) ideally within a financial setting and eager to develop a career in Treasury Personable and approachable, building strong relationships within the Treasury team and Group Finance, in addition to key stakeholders and external counterparts Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Excel Experience with banking and/or Treasury systems would be advantageous Analytical, detail conscious, organised and with a sense of pride in work output Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and on multiple projects at any one time Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to explain complex issues in a clear and transparent manner Studying for or willingness to study towards an ACT qualification We know our people are the magic ingredient in our success.
