Attribution Search is currently engaged with a boutique Hedge Fund in the Private Credit space who is currently experiencing accelerated growth across its CLO business. Given the growth and planned growth over the next five years the Fund are looking to add a CLO Trading Assistant to support the trading desk and PM’s with all front end trading post execution. Key duties will involve but not limited to; CLO investor periodic reporting and waterfall calculations. CLO portfolio optimisation, validating tests trades across various portfolios Modelling and verification of CLO and warehouse compliance tests Estimated annual CLO equity payment forecasting / interest/expense cashflow projections Navigating through CLO Closings / Effective Dates / Resets / Refis Communicating periodic distributions for CLO manager originator / risk retention investments Ad-hoc special projects as requested by portfolio managers and other internal groups Routine interaction with corporate service providers, trustees and administrators Building strong relationships with counterparties, corporate service providers, trustees and administrators Trade and security entry into portfolio management system (Everest), VPM and Wall Street Office (WSO) Daily reconciliations of cash and positions between internal systems (IVP) and the Trustee/Custodians Processing coupon / interest / principal / corporate action activity on underlying portfolio positions This opportunity will suit a candidate looking to get closer contact with the trading desk and work in direct partnership with CLO PM’s. To be considered you must have had exposure to: CLO and loan operations and reconciling trustee reports experience necessary Loan settlement and loan documentation (LMA / LSTA, knowledge of lender / tax status applied in loan transfer documentation) Broader fixed income products - bonds and ABS securities preferable Managing/optimizing operational processes Market trends and current industry initiatives that can impact the business Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (particularly Excel), Wall Street Office, Clearpar, Allvue Everest, VPM, and Bloomberg knowledge
