We are partnering with one of London’s leading Hedge Funds, who since inception, have outperformed the market. This position will be a key role in structuring the finance and operation teams for scalability and efficiency, ensuring future growth. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to business stakeholders and third-party advisors, across trading, research, operations, and business development. It will be reporting into the CFO, and the COO, with progression to the CFO position. Their focus is on creating market-leading operational processes, with substantial investments already made to ensure their systems and technology are fit for purpose. Day-to-day responsibilities will encompass all areas of finance, including reviewing the work of ACA qualified candidates, with a particular emphasis on tackling complex reporting tasks and overlaying them with insightful analysis. For this, we are seeking ambitious finance professionals with experience within a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank. The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified (Ex Big 4), with 4-7 years PQE. They will be responsible for managing the finance function, so should have experience with team management. This role will have a broad overview of the finance function so you should have exposure to both corporate and fund accounting. The firm are prepared to provide a substantial increase in pay for the right candidate and are looking for someone mid-level to step up into this role.
