Client Quantitative Analyst II-Pre-Paid Unemployment Jacksonville, Florida;Belfast, Maine; Charlotte, North Carolina; Phoenix, Arizona; Kennesaw, Georgia; Newark, Delaware Job Description: Line of Business Job Description The Unemployment Programs Data, Analytics and Reporting Team is looking for an experienced analytical professional to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to quantify/assess data with the Prepaid Card product, partnering with Product, Strategies, Regulatory, Legal, Vendors (Visa) and Fraud & Claims Operations management. Our team supports all aspects of Data, Analytics and Reporting for this product. This analyst will be versatile and highly motivated to support a variety of business needs that require the ability to synthesize insights from various data sources. The analysis will enable the integration of new and emerging sources of data enabled through technology and leverage these sources to better support line-of-business objectives. The role requires the individual to deliver meaningful and actionable insights though the proficient use of tools & techniques to extract information from multiple sources of data. The analyst is expected guide partners to define business questions, develop approaches and execute approaches to solving the business question. This role requires hands-on in data gathering and analysis leading to recommendations based on the findings. This will include: •Executing transactional time series data analyses •Identifying innovative uses of customer data to target high-value business opportunities and drive improved performance. •Levering data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured) with various levels of data quality to conduct meaningful analyses for business questions. •Provide actionable insights that reflect analytical outcomes that incorporates insights derived from analytics, research and competitive intelligence. •Interacting with business partners and vendors to execute on data and analytical deliverables •Translate business questions into analytics projects with clear objectives, create and maintain work tracking documentation. •Present insights, implications and actionable recommendations to stakeholders and analytics leaders. Required Skills Bachelor's degree preferred preferably in quantitative or qualitative discipline •8 years of analytics experience with ability to use SAS, SQL, and/or Alteryx, Python, R to find and deliver data from various databases and platforms. •Excellent statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insight. •Comfortable and effective in tackling unstructured analytical challenges. •Ability to build key relationships and influence thinking of internal stakeholders. •Project management experience with ability to adapt to changing priorities and to manage multiple projects simultaneously. •Strong networking and influencing skills, able to work collaboratively across teams without formal management responsibility. •Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical, non-technical and executive roles. •Experience working in the Hadoop, Teradata, SQL Server and Unix. •Proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point. •Demonstrate an ownership mindset who takes ownership by embracing challenges to seeing them through. Desired Skills Financial services experience. •Advanced degree in business or statistics.
