At QuantCo, we understand that having the excellent data scientists alone doesn’t make you the most productive data science company. Our Machine Learning Engineers ensure that the Data Scientists work in an environment where they can fully leverage their potential. They build the tools and infrastructure that accelerate data analytics and model development to the next level. As a student you would work together with our Machine Learning Engineers to build the setting the Data Scientists work in.
We are looking for team players with an entrepreneurial mindset that also bring:
- Strong coding skills. Agnostic to the frameworks that you use or how you learned them, we are looking for people who can write clean and effective code,
- Good familiarity with algorithms and data structures,
- Proficiency with a programming language such as R, MATLAB, Java, C++, Python, JavaScript or similar,
- Familiarity with databases and SQL is a plus,
- Passion for data and the interest to improve the software stack for data science projects,
