We are currently looking for a Vice President (6-8 years) to join the Special Ops team of a leading alternatives fund. The ideal candidate will have experience across special sits (equity & credit). Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies and industries to identify potential investment opportunities in both equity and credit markets. Evaluate distressed assets, restructurings, and special situations to assess potential risks and rewards. Develop and execute investment strategies, including long and short positions, across different asset classes. Monitor portfolio positions and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to optimise performance. Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and grow within the organisation. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or asset management, with a focus on special situations, distressed assets, and credit investments. Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing investment opportunities in both equity and credit markets. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex financial modelling and valuation analysis. European language skills are advantageous.
