Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Software Senior Engineer in Charlotte, NC. Job Role and Responsibility: Work in the Risk and Finance CIO organization which provides technology to several lines of businesses including Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit, and Legal with a combined technology spending in excess of $500MM annually and is a 1100 person global organization. Act as a Hadoop Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer to join a technology team supporting qualitative and quantitative risk models for multiple LOBs. Act as a technical product owner of our entire Big-Data/Hadoop space, as well as for our IBM Spectrum Conductor deployment for multitenant environments. Implement and configure DevOps for Hadoop environment, including working with very tech-savvy business users to help provide support in CICD pipeline-related issues. Develop and configure NoSQL databases. Drive end-to-end IT infrastructure procurement. Support the implementation of Dynamic Clustering. Coordinate and work with vendors like MapR, Cloudera, DELL, and HP on various areas like vendor POCs' progress, infrastructure delivery delays, and configuration guidance. Project managing, ITIL Implementation, and Agile transformation using Scrum and Kanban. Support CCAR Runs and Security audits. Requires experience with IBM Spectrum Conductor and Hadoop Platforms like Hortonworks, Cloudera, Python, Java, Hive and Spark to support users on the Model Validation Platform. The individual will be responsible for supporting the Model Risk Validation Environment and provide technical leadership and contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of the specialized, highly complex software in the areas of Big data, Analytics, Model Development and Validation support. This role will be responsible for working with the Model validators and provide them with suitable environment to complete the validation of the model and provide support for tasks like building servers, installing and configuration of the software, and issues that the user have or need assistance with during the use of the Model Validation platform. Travel required: None Required Qualifications : Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field and seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or application development and implementation experience. Specific skills required: Seven (7) years of MS SQL server experience Six (6) years of Oracle DBA experience Six (6) years of Windows OS administration experience Five (5) years of Linux experience Three (3) years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools including Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map Three (3) years of engineering and support responsibilities with BoKS product or similar UNIX/Linux Identity & Access Management products Three (3) years of distributed servers platform experience Two (2) years of DB2 experience Two (2) years of Python experience Two (2) years of experience with IBM Spectrum Conductor.
