Fund That Flip

Description

Who We Are

Fund That Flip is an originator of market-leading loans for fix-and-flip, new construction, and rental properties. We also provide a platform for investors to earn passive income by investing in the real estate that we help finance.

Our engineering team builds and maintains three primary systems: the loan origination and servicing software that powers our lending operation, the investing platform that helps us raise capital, and the payment service processing millions of dollars in transactions. We expect our application portfolio will grow in short order.

Tech stack is Ruby on Rails on Heroku, moving towards a services-oriented, cloud-based infrastructure. Most of our front end uses Rails defaults with some Javascript frameworks, including Stimulus and React. We also support fully integrated third-party services like SendGrid, HubSpot, HelloSign, and expect to do more here.

Who You Are

An ideal member of our engineering team is a person that is always learning and striving to improve their craft. They would be comfortable in any part of the application stack—from Ruby to JavaScript to HTML and CSS—and enjoy engaging with their colleagues within technology and with the underlying business units that our custom software empowers. They may also bring some strong opinions and preferences to working on front ends, back ends, and/or integrations.

Most importantly, they should be excited about working in a startup experiencing accelerating growth, looking to expand their capabilities and ownership of their work along with the team.
