Senior Data Scientist/Software Engineer - London - £70K-90K I am currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist who has great experience in Python and Pytorch, who has a passion for both technology and the development of practical usable applications to join a growing project team. This team will contribute to the development of novel enhanced Transformer and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). This is a huge opportunity to work for a fantastic organisation who specialise in artificial general intelligence (AGI) that are now in need of a senior data scientist who can help contribute to the company's success. Responsibilities: Enhance the machine learning software with the latest in machine learning/deep learning/computer vision algorithms. Apply your existing knowledge of Transformers and CNNs, machine vision and image analysis techniques to the development of enhanced neural network systems based on our research outputs. Contribute to development and software engineering efforts to develop solutions to our most pressing problems and to put your work into practice. Participate in defining the software development roadmap and in holding responsibility for delivering core components of our machine vision and image analysis products. Work with research colleagues and offer technical support to colleagues in commercial roles in developing business opportunities. Produce project deliverables by challenging milestone dates. Skills required: Strong experience in Python and Pytorch Able to create and explain your own customised solutions for specific problems such as customised neural networks, loss functions, optimisers, metrics. Able to discuss and apply latest state-of-art deep learning/computer vision papers. Experience in developing Transformer and CNN -based applications. Proven contribution to design, development and scaling of high quality, practical reliable software. Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced engineering team.
