Job Responsibilities Front-line support for the APA service externally with participating firms (buy and sell-side) Providing support in a timely manner for the day-to- day APA service with external participants to include: Firm testing and connectivity questions: Ownership of incoming questions covering the APA service/ product/ regulatory topics Coordination of the more complex questions requiring a detailed knowledge to the APA business team Day-to-day support of the test and production "on-boarding" process for new firms: Ownership of the onboarding forms and their completion, on-site training requirements and general readiness of firms to go live Responsible for the coordination and management of any weekly calls with new member firms as they migrate through testing and on-boarding Ongoing knowledge and understanding of the APA test environment together with a working knowledge of both the Business and Technical FIX API specs in order to assist firms with questions/ issues Building and maintaining effective relationships with participating firms and all stakeholders (sell/ buy-side firms, venues and other service providers). Participation in the Steering Committee and Data Standards Working Group (DSWG) quarterly meetings with external member firms Reasonable understanding and ability to keep abreast of the specific regulations under the MiFIR pre- and post-trade transparency regime in order to manage effective communication with participating firms Longer-term expectation to share / be involved in the evolution and expansion of the services offered post go-live Qualifications Knowledge of financial markets gained through education or within a financial institution Strong knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word Data analytics skills are desirable, including tools like Excel, Tableau, Collibra etc. Proven communication skills and the ability to build effective and professional relationships both internally and externally Familiarity and technical ability to understand workflow processes and other technical components such as API and GUI based solutions Experience of coordinating and attending meetings both internally and externally Self-motivation and "can do attitude" with ability to "learn on the job" and commitment to the task at hand is essential Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail is critical Determination to move up the learning curve and take on increased responsibilities and ownership A basic knowledge and understanding of the pre- and post-trade transparency regime under MiFIR regulation is an advantage but not required Knowledge of FIX Protocol messaging language advantageous Company Description Tradeweb Markets is a world leader in the evolution of electronic trading.
