Position: We are seeking a full-time software developer for our US equity derivatives business in New York. This person will support, enhance, and extend the functionality of our existing quantitative software package and will help build new tools to satisfy front office demands with the freedom to innovate and apply new methods and technologies. The position reports to the head of quantitative software development. Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, and test software for trading and risk management. Enhance and extend functionality of existing quantitative models and software. Support current production environments. Work with users at all levels of the organization to understand their needs for quantitative applications and provide support for such users. Qualifications A degree in Applied Math, Physics, Quantitative Finance, or fields such as Computer/Information Science. A minimum of 10 years' experience building software for equity derivatives desirable. A suitable understanding of the math behind equity derivative modeling and implementation. Proficiency with C#, .NET., and SQL Server. Experience with Python and Excel DNA a plus. Deep understanding of the software development cycle, object-oriented programming, GUI development, data structures, and version control. Comfortable with Windows development environment and scripting. Outstanding problem-solving skills. High integrity and pride in work. Ability to learn and adopt quickly. Detail oriented. Strong communications skills. Fast and agile developer willing to dive into existing software. The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000.
