The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commodities trading and a passion for developing innovative solutions to enhance trading strategies. Responsibilities: Collaborate with traders and researchers to develop and implement qualitative trading models for commodities markets. Conduct in-depth research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and enhance existing strategies. Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze market data and optimize trading models. Develop tools and applications to streamline trading processes and improve efficiency. Stay abreast of market trends and industry developments to ensure trading strategies remain competitive and profitable. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Must have knowledge of commodities markets and trading strategies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python. Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Prior experience in a quantitative trading or hedge fund environment is a plus.
