Quantitative Analyst (Python SQL MSc / PhD) London / WFH to £75k Would you like to establish / advance your career at a Commodities Trading firm, working with and learning from a hugely talented team? You could be joining a specialist Hedge Fund and working on long term strategic projects which involve implementing quantitative statistical models that are used to forecast elements of demand and supply of energy for European markets. As a Quantitative Analyst you will focus on analysing weather data to identify Risk, partnering with experienced Quants and liaising with Portfolio Managers to deliver bespoke statistical models and methods. WFH Policy: You'll be working in a collegiate team environment based in North London with a small group of accomplished software / data engineers and finance entrepreneurs with flexibility to work from home three days a week in a hybrid model. Requirements: You have an excellent academic record of achievement; 2.1 or above at BSc, likely to have studied MSc / PhD level at a top tier university You can code with at least one of the following: Python, C++ or C# You have strong SQL skills You're comfortable working with large data sets (e.g. statistics) You have experienced of implementing highly scalable, performant, low latency solutions You have excellent written and verbal communication skills Salary & benefits: As a Quantitative Analyst you will earn a competitive salary (to £75k) plus bonus and benefits including pension, medical care and 25 days holiday.
