Job purpose: Promote, develop and execute financial instruments mainly foreign equities, euro bonds, futures, options and FXs with brokers for the company under the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime as a Certification Employee under Client Dealing Function. This activity is carried out on behalf of the company under the FCA’s permission "Managing investments". Key responsibilities include interpreting financial/market news and determining market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis Job descriptions Execute financial instruments between the company and brokers in London, EEA, USA and Japan (the "Prop Trading"). The Prop Trading shall be executed and settled by the company’s own account under a discretionary mandate and relevant instructions within a limited trading capacity given by the company Execute financial instruments between the Company and brokers in London, EEA, USA and Japan (the "Brokerage Services"). The Brokerage Services shall be executed and settled by the company’s own account under a firm mandate and relevant instructions from the company Analyse financial/market information and determining market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis for the company Share all relevant information with colleagues within the front office of the Company so as to maximise business flows within the compliance limits Provide assistance to your Supervisor Comply with all the Company rules, policies and procedures Requirements: Solid and proven relevant experience in financial sector (such as securities, hedge funds or investments) is mandatory Solid understanding and knowledge of European economy and markets and working experience in the field. Proficient in English language Computer literate (PC, Excel, Word, Internet and Bloomberg). Prudent, careful, honest, diligent, patient and forward looking. Adaptability to a new environment.
