Position Overview Job Title Hedge Fund Credit Officer Location London Corporate Title Vice President The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. This role provides expert analysis and supervises the management of a specific risk type (e.g., credit, market, liquidity, operational). You will leverage your deep understanding of this risk area to make informed decisions and grant approvals within your designated authority level. Make informed decisions on approving derivative and structured transactions. Take ownership of day-to-day transaction approvals, setting initial margin levels for trades, and analysing intricate structured transactions. Proactively manage risk and exposures within your portfolio, leveraging our credit risk management and product monitoring systems. Collaborate seamlessly with our Collateral Management team to resolve any margin or collateral issues that arise. Your skills and experience Degree level education or equivalent, relevant industry experience (5 years) in managing hedge fund credit risk. A keen student of markets, with a deep understanding of diverse investment strategies and their associated risks. A product guru with comprehensive knowledge of major derivative instruments and Prime Brokerage offerings, particularly within the context of risk analysis. A sharp quantitative thinker with the ability to assess and quantify transaction risk. A natural leader with exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
