Job Description JOB TITLE: Head of Performance Planning & Analysis SALARY: £104,368 - £130,460 LOCATION(S): Leeds HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Leeds office About this opportunity We are recruiting in Leeds for a Head of Performance Planning & Analysis to join us in a full time, permanent role. In this role you’ll be leading Group Corporate Treasury’s input into groupwide financial reporting, planning and stress testing activities, whilst also actively participating in the Finance wide transformation project. The successful candidate will have proven ability to lead a team and be able to clearly communicate with senior stakeholders both within and outside of their own division. Day to day you’ll be; Leading GCT’s input into Group wide finance activities – including reporting of actuals vs budget, planning and stress testing activities, and funds transfer pricing, and communicate these results to stakeholders around the Group Building trusted advisor relationships with Group and Treasury business areas and desks in order to be the main contact for finance related queries; Ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to ensure that the results of the planning and stress testing activities are robust Leading a multi-site team of c40 colleagues including ownership for implementing formal development frameworks for the team, while informally coaching and mentoring others throughout the organisation and investing in own personal development. Implementation of the Finance strategy – ‘Harnessing Data to Enhance Control, Build Efficiency and Drive Value for the Group’ Contributing to the overall Group Corporate Treasury leadership team, driving the Growth Mindset required as part of the Finance transformation agenda About us Like the modern Britain we serve, we’re evolving. Join us on our journey and you will too… What you’ll need A finance professional with a track record gained in a broad range of senior roles; Experience in treasury products, valuation techniques, technical accounting (including, but not limited to Fixed Income, xVA, Capital, Issuance, Liquid Assets, medium- and short-term Funding, Hedging). An ability to influence at senior levels internally and externally; and strong leadership skills. Highly analytical and able to draw out key messages to support and influence decision making. A change mindset - keen to challenge and make continual improvements to our ways of working.
