Description
We are working exclusively with a hugely successful hedge fund, with over $10bn AUM. They have grown significantly over the last 3 years and as a result are looking to hire a commercial management accountant to work between the accounting and investment team. The role will be heavily focused on the performance and investor reporting of the fund. This will involve managing the P&L, documenting any large changes to the NAV and working with the trading team to write commentary to discuss in the investment meetings. It will cover treasury- reconciling the cash positions and managing the FX to ensure sufficient funds are available. They outsource the granular fund accounting work, so this will review their work, before analysing and presenting accounts to the wider team. Over the next 2 years, they have some ambitious fund-raising targets, driven by investor demand, and this position will progress to become a team leader for the team. For this, we are looking for qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA) with strong academics. It is important to have some exposure to financial services firms, alternative investment highly desirable. The company prides itself on having collaborative and friendly culture, which encourages learning and progression. They work a hybrid model and have summer/winter trips, as well as regular socials. £65,000 salary plus excellent bonus (usually 50% for all staff) and generous benefits.
