Description

About the Opportunity

We are in the process of preparing materials to support our UK banking application and business plan. We are looking for someone to join our team of technologists and senior bankers, and actively contribute to this effort.

The firm is at a startup stage and you will be working across disciplines, gaining excellent exposure to all aspects of the bank and the technology it is built on. Throughout, you will receive support and training in our products, services and markets.

The Role

As an analyst you will be working closely with the COO, CRO and CFO in the design, production and documentation of the firm's risk management, financial control and operations environment. You will be preparing financial models, performing stress testing, conducting market research, writing control policies and procedures, and liaising with fintech partners and suppliers.

Candidates

We are seeking candidates with an understanding of the fintech landscape, and an interest in the mechanics of establishing and operating a regulated UK bank. You should have an interest in how technology is changing banking, and be adept at using consumer or business technology tools.

You should have had between 1-3 years prior work experience. If you have less work experience, you should have graduated in a relevant field of study, from a top-tier insitution.

You must have a curious mind and be enthusiasitc about the challenge. You should work well with people in a team environment, and be adaptable to working across reporting lines.

Preferred Skills and Experience

You will stand out as a candidate if you have prior banking experience. Specifically this might include enterprise risk management, new bank authorisations, the preparation of an ICAAP or ILAAP, or a multi-disciplinary graduate scheme.

We will also favour candidates who have started or completed an accountancy qualification.

If you have advanced Excel skills, or have knowledge or practical experience in quantitative finance techniques and models, you will also be in good stead.

Details

Our London office is located in Moorgate. We have some distributed employees, and operate with a flexible, entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment. Please submit you CV and a letter outlining your interest and how your skills and experience qualify you for this role.
