As the Alternative Data Strategy and Vendor Management individual, you will play a pivotal role in our mission by collaborating with the firm's head of data strategy and sourcing, engaging in vendor management, procurement, and reporting for the entire organization. Responsibilities include: Leverage your exceptional vendor management skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with our trusted partners. You will oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and ongoing performance monitoring. Your expertise will ensure the firm receives the best possible service and value from our vendors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the data and platform needs of our internal trading groups. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide strategic recommendations, and ensure seamless integration of data platforms and tools. Your exceptional contract management abilities will shine as you take charge of the end-to-end process. From preparation to negotiation and renewal, you will ensure that all contracts align with our business objectives and meet legal and compliance standards. Reporting to the firm’s head of data strategy and sourcing, engage in vendor management, procurement, and reporting for the firm as a whole Contract management (Preparation, Negotiation, Renewal). Interface with 3rd party service providers and be an effective conduit between our internal departments and outside vendors. Track all subscriptions, entitlements and report usage to the necessary internal and external entities as required. Requirements: Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Alternative data sourcing is essential (Market data is a plus). Must be comfortable communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders. Customer focused with strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. Understanding of Domestic and International Market Data offerings, both real-time and historic. Experience with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, MSCI, NYSE, Nasdaq, CME, S&P, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel. Knowledge of EMRS and cost allocation systems such as Stavtar, FITS, and MDSL.
