2nd Line Support Engineer Our Client is a technology and quantitative R&D business unit who provide technology to their Hedge Fund arm. It is also an innovation hub, designed for their various funds to develop software with a smart engine that can help in capturing Alpha, as well as within the investment process. As part of their ambitious plans they are looking to add 2 nd Line Support Engineer who will come in and work as part of the Support Engineer team. Who will help support the business by facing the business and providing technical support ranging from troubleshooting to implementation of new systems. Role Responsibilities: Provide 2nd line Support in a fast-paced pressured environment Administer of user permissions, mail groups, and application access, trading software support (i.e. Bloomberg Terminal, Factset, Reuters, etc.) Use Microsoft Active Directory, Goverlan, Bomgar, PowerShell to solve issues Solve issues with Citrix Workspaces, VDI, Office 365 Implement and troubleshoot Cisco VOIP phones and Zoom Conferencing Maintain documentation and enforce secure system policies To be considered a good cultural fit, you must be: An ambitious self-starter Hungry and driven to learn Strong desire to solve with automation and self-service A very strong and efficient communicator and collaborator Able to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced trading environment A deep problem solver; able to think on your own and develop quick, sound solutions to problems Work well under minimal supervision to complete projects and tasks on time Able to work in high pressure situations to find timely solutions To be considered a good technical fit, you must have: Basic knowledge in automating for Windows platforms leveraging PowerShell and SCCM Strong technical ability and outstanding troubleshooting skills Experienced in supporting mobile devices on MDM platforms: iPhones/iPads/Androids Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP) Knowledgeable of Zoom Conferencing and audio/video conferencing systems Experienced with supporting users remotely by troubleshooting VPN/VDI/VDA connections If you are interested please do not hesitate to reply.
